Year 5 had a wonderful and informative morning at the Shri Venkateswara (Balaji) Temple, where they learnt about temple rituals, Hindu deities and worship. They visited different shrines, which were adorned with colourful flowers, garlands, jewellery and other beautiful objects. They asked many interesting questions to develop their knowledge of Hinduism and listened intently to the guide, who told them stories of kindness, forgiveness, friendship and respect. ❤️All staff were incredibly proud of the children’s respectful attitude throughout the visit, which was also commented on by worshippers at the Temple.
