However, to make this night inclusive for every student regardless of their financial situation, we need your help.We are raising funds to lower ticket costs and ensure no student is left behind due to the current financial pressures on state schools. Any contribution, no matter how small, helps us celebrate this amazing group of young women. 💚Help us make magic happen here: gofund.me/efcb03a17 Thank you. ... See MoreSee Less

Un voyage fantastique ! Our GCSE Paris Trip 🇫🇷We have just returned from a very enjoyable trip to Paris with our lovely GCSE students! For several of them, this was their very first time visiting France or traveling on the Eurostar, making the adventure even more special. We packed so much into our time away. Highlights included taking in the breathtaking, panoramic views of the city from the Tour Montparnasse and enjoying a scenic boat ride along the River Seine to spot Paris's most beautiful monuments—especially 'La Dame de Fer' (the Eiffel Tower). We also experienced a stunning sunset from the Arc de Triomphe, looking out over the modern financial and business district of La Défense. However, the best part of the trip was the students themselves. They showed incredible confidence in trying out their spoken French, even at a basic level, and were exceptionally polite and respectful everywhere we went. Their attitude was the true signature of our school spirit and community, and we couldn't be prouder! It has been amazing to see the immediate impact in the classroom, too. Some students came back with brand-new, authentic vocabulary—like 'une fougasse' and 'un chausson aux pommes'—which they have already started weaving into their French essays! It wasn't just the students trying to speak French, either! Our lovely accompanying colleagues enthusiastically tested out their own basic French knowledge—even when it resulted in using phrases in completely the wrong context, providing us all with some brilliant, memorable and very funny moments! A huge merci to our wonderful students, their parents and the staff who made this trip such a resounding success! ... See MoreSee Less
