Following on from their fantastic trip to the Hindu Temple in Lewisham this morning, our amazing year 1 children decided to recall their learning by drawing the god Ganesha. They are also doing some writing to recall what they learnt today. Well done, year 1 #londonsivankovil

Look closely… not one but two different types of newt are now thriving in the Brooklands revived wildlife pond! We also spotted a magpie enjoying a drink and a bath as well as many insects visiting. We can’t wait to see what other wildlife will start to settle in now that the pond is maturing. It’s becoming a wonderful area for the children to observe, investigate and learn through as well as helping us reach our sustainability goals. #naturepond #outdoorlearning #newtconservation
