What a busy and exciting few weeks it has been in Starlings Class! 🌟

We have been wearing lots of different hats in our learning. As scientists, we investigated what happens to sound when we move further away from its source. As historians, we explored how we are making history, created our own personal timelines, and compared our lives today with what life was like when our grandparents were children, thinking about similarities and differences.As part of Black History Month, we learned about Mary Seacole and discussed why she was such a significant and inspiring figure. We have also been musicians, creating our own soundscapes and exploring how music can tell a story and create atmosphere.We are incredibly proud of all the hard work, curiosity and enthusiasm shown by the children. Look how far Kites Class has come in the last six weeks. They have learned all about their new instrument, musical notation and can now play several tunes.
