COMMUNITY SUCCESS…Congratulations to Savannah in year 3 who took part in the Music for Youth festival at Birmingham Symphony Hall.Performing in such a huge venue, in front of a full audience as far as the eye could see-right to the top of the venue-was an incredible experience for her. Travelling and performing alongside a choir made up of students up to the age of 22 was a hugely valuable part of the day – not only musically, but socially and emotionally too. She came home full of pride and excitement! (as well as extreme tiredness after a 3am start!) The whole experience gave her so much – confidence, teamwork, resilience, and a real sense of achievement. Being on such a huge stage helped her see what’s possible through hard work of many Saturday’s dedicated to rehearsing.Well done Savannah, we are very proud of you! #treleighlovesmusic #treleighlovespersonaldevelopment ... A Fantastic Finale to Our Week of Celebrations!Today marked the final day of our whole-school celebration of learning — and what a brilliant end it was! We were thrilled to welcome the families of our Year 5 children, who proudly showcased their incredible work from their comparative study of an area in Greece and Cornwall. 🇬🇷🇬🇧Our young learners impressed us all with; recitals of Greek poetry, thoughtful discussion texts and home made traditional Greek flatbreads served with fresh Greek salad — a real treat for all!It was a joy to see their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm on full display. A huge well done to Year 5 and thank you to all the families who joined us to celebrate. What a superb way to end a fantastic week of learning across the school! ... See MoreSee Less

Yesterday, our Community Club members rolled up their sleeves to support Redruth Town Council with a special planting project. The children worked together brilliantly, carefully planting their design into the ‘boat bed’with great care and creativity. We were delighted to be joined by the Mayor of Redruth and the Redruth Town Clerk, who offered plenty of encouragement and support throughout the afternoon. If you're passing by, do take a moment to stop and admire the boat bed—we can’t wait to see it burst into colour over the summer! 💐🚤 ... Finally we can announce the winner of the ‘Design a Football Kit’ competition, run by Miss Daniels and judged by Mr. Proctor, is…Ewan in Y5! Ewan will now be part of the design process as we choose the exact design and have his ideas made for the school to start wearing next year. Congratulations also to Arwyn and Jonah who came second and Daisy for coming third. All three designs showed great creativity whilst using the Treleigh School colours. Well done to everyone who entered. It was extremely difficult to judge! We are also extremely lucky to have two signed Arsenal shirts donated to the school by Arwyn and Jonah’s Dad who works alongside the players at the Emirates Stadium. One is signed by most of the current squad and the other by Mikel Merino! Watch this space for our plans to auction these in the very near future. We are very appreciative of this kind donation.#treleighlovessport ... See MoreSee Less
