What a day we had! We would like to thank the police and the other services attending the rugby tournament at Redruth Rugby Club yesterday. There was a huge array of free, donated food for the children and staff, free gifts, a dance off and even a fire hose to cool the players down! It was superbly organised and a great opportunity for the children. To add to the enjoyment, Treleigh played seven matches, winning every game, before eventually beating Pennoweth in a very competitive final. The standard on display from the squad was quite outstanding, supporting each other well and played in the spirit of the game with great respect. Well done to all involved! 🏉 🏆
Final reminders for Y6 and the choir tonight-- Y6 to be handed over at the main office at 6:00pm, choir at 6:30pm. Please do not arrive too early. - Please check children do not bring in phones, sweets or snacks. Biscuits and drinks will be provided- Collection at 9:15pm from the library door for Y6 and from Wheal Rose door, both through the office.- Choir to wear black shorts and play t-shirts.The children are very excited to put on their first performance! 🎭 Thank you.

The Year 6s had their dress rehearsal of this year's Production, 'Forever Treasure Island!'With the nerves dusted off, and a few performance tweaks, they, along with the KS2 choir, did a fantastic first performance in front of the school. We look forward to welcoming you to the three evening performances this week - you're in for a treat!

IMPORTANT…!Changes to Wednesday’s Y6 performance time (now 5:30pm)The Treleigh School production has always been a huge feature within the academic calendar and we would like full focus on the children after all the hard work they have put in. With England’s semi final taking place during their performance, we feel the audience may have one eye on the football and/or audience numbers will be down. With this in mind, we are bringing forward the start time to 5:30pm. This will allow everyone, including parents and children to enjoy both events. Specific times for arrival and collection for the choir and Y6 will be posted on Class Dojo shortly. Please share and ‘spread the word’ to all those with tickets. The final of our Y5/6 World Cup tournament took place today with a narrow victory going in Spain’s favour (front row) in a 2-1 victory over Portugal. They now go on the play the staff next week!It really has been such an enjoyable tournament for all involved and a great way to inspire all those involved to watch the real thing (when the times allow!). Congratulations to Oliver H from Y5 with a massive 17 goals in 5 matches to earn him the Golden Boot award! ⚽️

Wheal Fortune had a great transition day learning about sepsis. They created posters to raise awareness and explain the signs and symptoms of somebody suffering from sepsis. They called them the, 'Sepsis Savvy Six!'

Our Y6s were presented with their leaver’s hoodies today and it’s fair to say they were delighted to receive them! We would like to say a huge thank you to the Friends of Treleigh for helping to fund these.

Wheal Fortune had a brilliant morning enjoying their Treleigh Way Treat on the field. They had a brilliant water fight followed by ice creams! Then, this afternoon, they enjoyed the Summer Fayre in glorious sunshine. What a day!
