It’s been another busy summer of improvements at Treleigh — and we’re not finished yet, with further work planned for October! When you return, we hope you’ll welcome our new parent shelter by the Pencil Gate, as well as noticing a number of other improvements around the school, including new fencing and the repointing of external walls. Inside, with the help of JDS Properties, we have created a new learning space within the Year 5/6 phase, providing greater flexibility for teaching and learning. We have also completed classroom improvements, essential electrical upgrades, and plenty of painting and decorating. With further tree maintenance and new external doors and windows due to be completed later this term, our ongoing investment will help ensure that Treleigh continues to provide a safe, welcoming and positive environment for our pupils, families and staff.None of this, however, would have been possible without the tremendous hard work of our Site Supervisor, Mr Roberts. Whether overseeing contractors or rolling up his sleeves and completing jobs himself, his commitment throughout the summer has been hugely appreciated. Moving a 12-foot shed, for example, is certainly no small task!A very big thank you, Mr Roberts, for everything you have done to get Treleigh ready for another exciting year. ... See MoreSee Less

What a fantastic way to round off the year! The Year 5/6 World Cup winning team, Spain, got off to the perfect start when Oliver fired home an early goal, leaving the teachers wondering if they were about to be taught a lesson! The early setback certainly woke the staff up, and they soon found their rhythm. Despite a determined performance and plenty of effort, the teachers eventually showed that experience (and perhaps a few more years of match practice!) counts for something, winning 5–2 at the final whistle. A brilliant match played in great spirit, full of smiles, laughter and plenty of memorable moments. Well done to everyone who took part—and don't worry, we'll let the teachers enjoy their victory... until next year! 👏⚽ ... See MoreSee Less

What a day we had! We would like to thank the police and the other services attending the rugby tournament at Redruth Rugby Club yesterday. There was a huge array of free, donated food for the children and staff, free gifts, a dance off and even a fire hose to cool the players down! It was superbly organised and a great opportunity for the children. To add to the enjoyment, Treleigh played seven matches, winning every game, before eventually beating Pennoweth in a very competitive final. The standard on display from the squad was quite outstanding, supporting each other well and played in the spirit of the game with great respect. Well done to all involved! 🏉 🏆 ... See MoreSee Less
