Yesterday afternoon class 3 had a top-secret WW2 mission!Their mission was to crack the code to prevent an enemy attack happening in England.Everybody enjoyed looking through the different pieces of evidence to help them answer questions about the enemy attack.We all showed amazing teamwork and all teams managed to crack the code, stopping the attack! Yesterday, we had a lovely trip to Standedge Tunnel.We had a very relaxing ride on a canal boat. We asked lots of questions about canals, the different types of canal boats and what it’s like to live on one.We investigated the pitch-black tunnel and talked about how boats got through the tunnel before the boats had engines.We then enjoyed a drink in the café before heading back to the boat for the ride back.Well done to everyone in class 3 for being respectful, polite and safe! ... This week, pupils have been busy creating fire exit plans for their homes, thinking carefully about the safest routes to take in an emergency. We had some excellent discussions about the importance of knowing your escape routes and how being prepared can help keep everyone safe.The class also showed great maturity and empathy while discussing ways to support their peers when they are facing challenges. Pupils shared thoughtful ideas, encouraging words of advice, and practical ways they can help others through difficult situations.We are incredibly proud of the teamwork, resilience, and respect shown by everyone in 7ZW this week.
