🌿🐦 Class 6 had a fantastic time in the woods on Monday using the Merlin Bird ID app! 📱Jenson discovered that one of the bird boxes was home to a family of blue tits.🐣💙Everyone stayed very still and quiet, and we were lucky enough to watch the parent birds coming and going, bringing food back to their hungry babies. Meanwhile, Rory spent a lot of time carefully planning and building a shelter.🌿🏕️He showed great creativity and perseverance, taking care with every detail before proudly inviting all of his friends in to see it! Teddy really enjoyed Forest School.🌿 He learned how to start a fire using flint and steel, which he was very proud of.🔥 He also discovered the Merlin Bird app and became very interested in finding and identifying different birds. 🐦 By the end of the afternoon, he had spotted around 8 different birds and was able to recognise magpies and wrens from their sounds.🎶🐤He also pointed out some magpies in the trees and managed to take a photo of one.📸#newbridge#school#Update...
