This year’s GCSE cohort achieved an impressive set of outcomes, with more than a third of all grades awarded at the top 9-7 level. In the key measures of English and Maths, 80% of students secured grades 4-9, while 64% achieved the higher 5-9 “strong pass” benchmark, both comfortably above national averages. An exceptional 10% of all grades awarded were the top grade 9. These results reflect the hard work, resilience and commitment shown by students throughout their time at The Howard, with the year group rising to every challenge and achieving success across a wide range of subjects. Well done to all!

It has been another remarkable year at The Howard, as students receive their A-Level and BTEC results and firm-up plans for their next great adventure. In a cohort of 155 students, A Level grades were 13% A*, 35% A* to A, 66% A*-B and 87% A*-C. Impressively, every single one of our BTEC Extended Certificate results were Distinction*, Distinction or Merit. These outcomes are even better than last year’s outstanding results. Congratulations to all our amazing students!
