🌟 What a fantastic start to Year 3! 🌟

We have been so impressed with how wonderfully our Year 3 children have settled into life at Ludlow Junior School. They have been kind, respectful and have tried incredibly hard with all of their learning. 💙The children have also made a brilliant effort with their joined handwriting, and their presentation in their books has been excellent. ✏️📚We have explored what makes a complete sentence, and the children were able to confidently explain the features in their written work. Year 4 launched their new school year in style yesterday with a fascinating visit from a real-life palaeontologist, Dr. Neil Gostling! 🧠🔍

Dr. Gostling shared his incredible knowledge about dinosaurs and their unique features, answering lots of curious questions from the children and sparking their imaginations. The real highlight was looking at some amazing fossils up close — a truly unforgettable experience!This exciting hook has inspired us to dive deep into our new English unit, where children will be researching, designing, and creating informative and eye-catching dinosaur infographics.
