Our Year 9 football B team faced Sackville and brought the heat! Harry G scored first with a header from a corner, followed by a quick second from Harry P. Isaac added another after a brilliant through ball, giving Oxted a solid lead at halftime. Year 9 Students Shine at Dynamic STEM Day EventOur Year 9 students had the opportunity to participate in an engaging STEM Day event organised by SATRO. This event was made possible through the collaboration of dedicated volunteers and representatives from @gatwickairport AtkinsRéalis Legal & General , and BBC Micros. London Gatwick Students were divided into teams and rotated through three different industries, gaining firsthand insights into the operations and opportunities offered by these companies. After the introductions, the real excitement began with a series of hands-on activities.From bridge building and coding to teamwork challenges and exploring the evolution of computers, students were fully immersed in each task. 🚨 Surrey Cup Update! 🚨 Our Year 9 football A team made the journey to Wimbledon for the second round of the Surrey Cup.After a slow start, Alfie scored a brilliant goal from a fantastic through ball by Jacob, putting Oxted 1-0 up at halftime. In the second half, a defensive clearance turned into an attack, and Haydon slotted home to double Oxted’s lead.
