YR8 students will be participating in the Thriving Community Project, an initiative aimed at fostering outdoor learning, sustainability, and teamwork. As part of the project, the boys will take on the role of planters and caretakers, contributing to the upkeep of the woodland area next to Busch House and developing a small greenhouse as well as building planters to grow vegetables. They started on Wednesday and their first session was very successful and the boys really enjoyed it.It was lovely to see the boys being really hands on and getting stuck in to the tasks-we have tomato’s, basil, strawberries and spinach planted with potatoes and Raspberries next on the list! ...
