As we continue with the end of year traditions at Treleigh, tonight was the staff vs. year 6 rounders match! What a close game, with the children just being pipped to the post by the staff! ๐๐ปThe game was followed by a delicious dinner of fish and chips, kindly bought by the Friends of Treleigh and expertly prepared by Sanders Fish and Chips in Pool - thank you both, the food went down well after all that running around! #treleighlovessport #treleighlovescommunity ... And that's a wrap! Wow, where to begin with how very proud we are of our year 6 children, who led some amazing performances of Oliver with a Twist this week. Their confidence shone through and they delivered 3 brilliant shows to packed out audiences, what superstars! The choir also did us proud with their superb vocals. A real team effort from staff and pupils at Treleigh this week, backed up by the support of our families and invited guests, who came along to join in the fun. ๐The Fred Harris Education Award 2025 presentations have begun, rewarding a Y6 student for making a difference to their school and community. ๐ The first award went to Ethan Dawes of Treleigh School - congratulations Ethan! ๐The school said:We are proud to recognise Ethan as the recipient of this yearโs Fred Harris Award. Since joining our Treleigh community, Ethan has faced significant learning challenges, but his resilience, positivity, and joyful spirit have been nothing short of inspirational. Always smiling, consistently optimistic, and deeply loved by everyone, Ethan truly represents the best of our school community. He has taught us all so much โ not just about learning, but about life. Through his example, Ethan reminds us daily of the power of patience, understanding, and kindness. His infectious energy lights up every room and warms every heart, and in doing so, he has quietly led us all โ by example โ in how to embrace each day with a smile. Ethanโs impact goes beyond the classroom. He has contributed to our wider community through his involvement in Scouting, and he has also been a proud supporter of school events in the local community, helping to strengthen the bond between Treleigh and the world around us. Ethan has been an integral part of Treleigh, embodying our values of Every Child, Every Day, Every Chance. No barrier has ever been too great. Whether contributing meaningfully to our curriculum, taking part in daily school life, or even confidently joining his year group on a trip to London, Ethan continues to rise to every occasion. He is fully deserving of this recognition. Ethan has brought something truly irreplaceable to our school โ a presence that has enriched us all, and for which we are deeply thankful. Congratulations, Ethan. We are so proud of you.#MakingADifferenceInRedruth ... See MoreSee Less

COMMUNITY SUCCESSโฆCongratulations to Savannah in year 3 who took part in the Music for Youth festival at Birmingham Symphony Hall.Performing in such a huge venue, in front of a full audience as far as the eye could see-right to the top of the venue-was an incredible experience for her. Travelling and performing alongside a choir made up of students up to the age of 22 was a hugely valuable part of the day โ not only musically, but socially and emotionally too. She came home full of pride and excitement! (as well as extreme tiredness after a 3am start!) The whole experience gave her so much โ confidence, teamwork, resilience, and a real sense of achievement. Being on such a huge stage helped her see whatโs possible through hard work of many Saturdayโs dedicated to rehearsing.Well done Savannah, we are very proud of you! #treleighlovesmusic #treleighlovespersonaldevelopment ...
