I’ve called the office and they told me despite receiving a message they’re on sale, they’re not going on scopay until Friday

Trying to book but nothing showing on scopay. Can anyone help?

Our students had an incredible opportunity to explore the inner workings of Costco in Sunbury-on-Thames, thanks to the facilitation by Ductu. The trip provided them with insights into the retail environment and helped them understand the various roles and responsibilities!Image attachment

Had a very interesting visit. The students were amazing ๐Ÿ˜Š

Our year 8 students had an amazing time at Brooklands Museum with Brooklands Innovation Academy! They explored STEM careers, engaged in hands-on workshops, networked with industry experts, and were inspired by guest speakers. A fantastic experience!Image attachment

Year 9 Workshops: A morning of Innovation and Inspiration

On Thursday 4th July, our year 9 students participated in two fantastic workshops!

๐Ÿ”ง Wind Turbine Challenge (Bespoke STEM Day): Sponsored by the Smallpeice Trust and delivered by Anthony Rhodes and Lynne Maitland, half of our year 9 students designed and constructed wind turbines to generate electricity. They explored circuits, forces, renewable energy, and structures, integrating Maths, Science, English, Design & Technology, and Engineering. This hands-on experience fostered critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.

๐ŸŽ“ Academic Taster Workshops: The other half of year 9 engaged in sessions on Introduction to Higher Education, Politics of National Security, and Sport in Higher Education & Careers delivered by Dr Jonathan Baldwin, and Nathan Simpson from Higher Education Outreach Network (HEON) โ€“ Royal Holloway University of London. These workshops aimed to raise aspirations, inform students about university benefits, and develop skills in critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership.

Both workshops provided invaluable experiences, preparing our students for future academic and professional success. Well done, year 9! ๐Ÿ‘
