Today was one of those heartwarming days that truly reminds us what community and belonging is all about 💛Our year 3 children spent the afternoon with some of our wonderful elderly residents in the community, playing board games and sharing a slice of cake.Moments like these are so important in helping to combat loneliness in our community. It’s amazing how something as simple as this can create such meaningful connections.Grateful for the time, the stories, and the laughter we shared today. Looking forward to next week! 🍰🎲 ... What an amazing day Year 4 have had at Charlton Athletic Football Ground! From the moment they arrived at The Valley, the excitement was unreal. They got a behind-the-scenes look at the stadium, including the changing rooms, tunnel, and pitch-side – it really made them feel like professional players for the day! Our children were fantastic throughout, asking great questions and showing brilliant enthusiasm. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the history of the club and what goes on behind the scenes in a real football stadium.A big thank you to the staff at Charlton Athletic for making the day so special. Definitely a trip to remember! 🤍#schooltrip#charltonathletic#thevalley#FootballExperience#memories... See MoreSee Less
