😊 Everyone was a busy bee in the pastoral room yesterday! 🐝 We had lots of amazing work going on from colour monster to zippy and friends. ❤️ Alfie and Regan looked at the colour monster again. We looked at sadness and the boys did amazing work and were able to recognise what made them feel sad and how we can help them feel happy again. 😢 😃 They used water colours to paint their colour monster.🎨Remeece was looking at zippy and friends, he was able to say what good communication is and why we do it. Remeece did amazing with this. 😃 Harry and Carter were also looking at zippy and friends, they were looking at feeling jealous. 💚 Both boys individually were able to talk about what can make people feel jealous and how they can fix feeling like that. 👌🏻 An amazing day with lots of amazing work completed! 🍃 🧱 This week in science class 6 have been looking at natural and man made materials.🔍We identified lots of different materials and their properties.👌🏻 We then went in the forest school area and found lots of different materials to create our own self portrait pictures.🎨We even found some coal and used this to draw with, some of the boys tried making their own pencils with this and the other materials we found.✏️ Well done, class 6!👏 #springbrook#academy#lower... 🙌 8LA enjoyed an excellent Food Technology lesson where they prepared healthy fruit scones. They practiced the ‘rubbing-in’ method to combine the dry ingredients, creating a fine, breadcrumb-like texture. Throughout the lesson, students kept their work areas clean and tidy and washed up carefully afterwards. Everyone agreed that the scones were delicious!😋 #springbrook#academy#upper... 👌🏻 Regan & Alfie were working independently looking at the story The Colour Monster, they both did some amazing work. ⭐ We read the story and then they were looking at happiness. They were able to say what they thought might make the monster happy and what made themselves happy.😃 When they had done this, they could colour their colour monster in, Regan wanted to paint his and Alfie coloured his in. 🎨 Miss Wright is so proud of the work you have both done!
