Well, we have had a lovely, albeit emotional, last day with our Y6s 🥺❤️

After our leavers assembly this morning, we organised a special leavers lunch, with pizza and pop! The ice cream man then came to visit, courtesy of Talent Education and treated everyone to a refreshing snack!All the children were busy getting their shirts signed before we finished with our traditional Y6 v staff water fight (or as we like to call it, revenge! 😂😂😂)We then had party poppers and streamers as they all left school (& a few more tears) ❤️We wish you all a wonderful summer - have a fabulous break and keep in touch! Our final day today, and it’s been a cracker! Lovely weather, over two hours on the lake tandem-canoeing, where we played games and were set challenges, finished off with a huge ice-cream on the way home.We are so proud of your children! Every one of them has pushed themselves to do something outside of their comfort zone, whether that was staying away from home, tackling heights, going on the water, meeting and working with new people - they have been amazing 🤩 The staff at the centre were so impressed by their manners and willingness to help each other and have a go at everything on offer - they should be very proud of themselves 👏👏👏👏👏❤️New Bridge Multi Academy Trust schools, Horizons & Future Finders ... What an amazing 🤩 time all the children have had , making wonderful memories and having so much fun doing activities together 💗 . Thank you to the amazing school and teachers for giving the children such an amazing experience at going away without parents and giving them the courage to do this and the parents to let them go 💗💗. You are all an inspiration to other schools to treat all children equally no matter what , and giving them all the same opportunity . 💗💗💗🥰🥰🥰

G is absolutely shattered , thank you so much for inviting her to join in , she's loved every minute of it , I hope yous also manage to get a good rest as yous must be done in yourselves 😍 what an amazing end to an amazing 5 years for my beautiful girl , couldn't of wished for a better school for her ...
