👷👷‍♀️Building Futures: A Construction Workshop for SEMH Students✅ In a world where hands-on learning can make all the difference, a recent construction workshop for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs has proven to be a game-changer. 👌 Paul Whittaker from PW Training delivered a construction workshop, hosted by Upturn Enterprise at The Hive, at the heart of Oldham, this workshop aimed to provide these students with knowledge, skills, confidence, and a better understanding of the construction industry.ℹ️ The Workshop Experience👀 The workshop was inclusive and engaging, ensuring that every student felt valued and capable. Over the course of the morning, students were introduced to various aspects of construction. 🔨 The sessions were led by Paul, who not only taught the technical skills but also emphasised the importance of teamwork, safety, and problem-solving.💪 Building Confidence📈For many SEMH students, traditional classroom settings can be challenging.
