Our Y10 students had a fantastic time at GCSE Science Live! in London, hearing inspiring talks from leading UK scientists, learning about everything from the science of laughter to why zebra have stripes... they also gained top exam tips from a chief examiner. A brilliant trip all round!
A group of Y8 students are working on a project combining developing literacy skills with discovering more about the rich biodiversity within our school grounds.This week, we welcomed visitors from Testwood Lakes who showed them how to make bird feeders and willow hoops with nesting materials 🪹

A group of Y10 chemists had a fantastic day recently at @University of Southampton for 'The Salters Festival of Chemistry', where they learnt about chemistry in the real world, and how it can open doors to many different careers... they even made Aspirin in the laboratory session!👩🔬
