23 children from Y5 and Y6 represented Treleigh at Redruth School earlier this week, performing two gymnastics routines in front of the judges. After much practice and perseverance, a difficult decision took place where eight children have progressed to the area finals, four from the Development Pathway and four from the Elite Pathway. These eight children will be celebrated next week after they have competed at Penryn Gymnastics Club against several other schools who also qualified. Good luck to the two teams who will be representing the Redruth area!

We are extremely fortunate that the Inn for All Seasons restaurant kindly allow us to use their car park during drop off and pick up times. We ask that all parents respect the use of this including driving slowly and carefully in and out, being considerate of their customers and staff. Should we lose this arrangement, it will put further pressure on parking and increase congestion around school. Also, please do not use the Treleigh Arms car park as we are not permitted to use this. Thank you for your cooperation with these requests.

Wheal Friendly had a great time dancing away for their ‘Five to Thrive’ attendance treat. For the best attendance in the school, they had a disco and lots of fun dancing and playing games with uv accessories. Thank you so much to Miss Howell who put on an amazing disco! 🪩 🕺🏻 #attendnancematters

Good morning. We have carried out a full site assessment and cleared some minor debris. We have heating and electricity so will be OPEN AS NORMAL with a flexible start time until 10am to allow for safe/delayed travel. If you arrive after the normal start time, please enter through the main office. There is no breakfast club today. Thank you.

In light of the current storm, and to allow time to assess any potential damage and ensure all services are operating safely, we will not be opening for Breakfast Club tomorrow.Children will be able to come into school from 8.30am up to 10am to allow families time to travel in safely during daylight hours.We will provide further updates (if needed) after our early site inspection in the morning. 🌌🚀 What an out-of-this-world day! We welcomed Simon from Space Dome Planetarium Space Odyssey into school for an amazing immersive experience. Our EYFS children blasted off on a space mission, learning all about the planets and our solar system, while Upper Key Stage 2 explored a fascinating experience linked to Darwin and evolution.
