Congratulations to our Y5/6 girl’s football team who were outstanding in the area finals at Penryn College on Friday. With little practice due to cancellations running up the event, you wouldn’t have known it as the team gelled together, winning four matches and losing just one! All the girls put in great performances, but a special mention must go to Daisy G for scoring 11 of our 12 goals! ... See MoreSee Less

Cross Country Celebrations for Treleigh at the Redruth Primary Schools Cross Country Championships. Mrs. Phillips and Mr. Hanley took a minibus full of 16 committed Cross Country club runners to compete at the annual Redruth Primary Schools Cross Country race. This race leads into the Area Finals and finally the County Championships later this term.Treleigh competed with Trewirgie, who brought a whopping 100 children across, which made it feel like a "proper" championship race.Conditons were fantastically muddy, wet, cold, and hilly - excellent xc conditions! The children warmed up well, and we were delighted to have 14 out of 16 children qualify for the Area Finals and go through to the next round in their individual race. Special mentions go to:Brody - 1st in Year 5 BoysLochlan- 2nd in Year 6 BoysEllie - 1st in Year 5 GirlsQuinn - 2nd (by the closest of margins) Year 6 GirlsDaisy - 3rd Year 6 Girls Amelie F- 2nd Year 3/4 Girls Everyone ran fantastically, and we could not be prouder of how the children conducted themselves, encouraged one another, and espoused the team spirit and camaraderie of Treleigh. Well done all, and may you continue to enjoy your running and have future successes! More information to follow on Arbor about the next round taking place next Tuesday 3rd at Camborne School. #treleighlovespe #treleighlovessport ... See MoreSee Less

Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Hanley for allowing KS1 to visit their farm last week, to link with the topic The Three Little Pigs. We got to meet the horses, goats, bees, cows and chickens and looked at the different homes they live in, discussing the type of structures. We then got to make some houses out of sticks for the 3 little pigs they will be welcoming to the farm soon. We can't wait to see them in their new homes 😃🐷 #treleighlovesDT #treleighlovesscience ... A wonderful end to half term with Wheal Rose sharing their OUTSTANDING pieces of independent writing, with the children in Wheal Lovely and Wheal Friendly. Our youngest children loved hearing their stories based on The Three Little Pigs. Fantastic Wheal Rose! #treleighloveswriting ... See MoreSee Less
