Great to see the New Bridge Multi Academy Trust schools, Horizons & Future Finders being represented and leading the way in events such as these.ππππYesterday, Mr Cox represented Samuel Laycock School at Greater Manchesterβs Neurodiversity Leadership network meeting held at Quay House, BBC. π’Shirley Woods-Gallagher (New Bridge Director) was speaking to local business leaders about the importance of inclusion in the workplace. π¬The room was filled with organisations that were keen to see neurodiverse people not only have fair access through the recruitment process into work yet also flourish once a job is secured.β€οΈ Businesses have a long way to go to be fully neuroinclusive, yet with network businesses leaders leading the way it is something that can be achieved.πͺ For Samuel Laycock, the network meeting was a huge success, creating links with businesses that want to support our employer encounters through job chats, work safaris and work experience.π #samuellaycock #newbridge #Update ... π³Class 3 are having a fantastic time at forest school in Holmfirth.π€© Lots of children using their imagination with the things they have found in the woods. πKayne found some slices of wood to make a cat.Lucas found a broken branch and is using it as a hammer.π¨ Others also decided to clean the wheels on the truck in the big puddle they found.π¦ #springbrook #academy #lower ... ππ§ ποΈSBU3 have engaged well with lessons about mental health. One of the activities students carried out was a discussion about feelings and emotions. β€οΈ Pupils were asked to create a single piece of artwork to reflect different feelings. They were asked not to overthink what they could create but to put onto paper what they first thought about, this work then created a collaborative piece of art which has taken pride of place within our classroom. π€© Great work once again SBU3. Happy World Mental Health Day. ππ§ ποΈ#springbrook #academy #WorldMentalHealthDay ... See MoreSee Less
