Our students just wrapped up an incredible project on The Women’s Right to Vote. They could choose any event in the 20th century and the students chose to look at the suffrage movement. They completed all the work and research at home.
Through creativity, research, and powerful storytelling, they explored the history of the suffrage movement, celebrated the trailblazers who made it possible, and reflected on why this right still matters today. This project is so important because it reminds us that the rights we have today were hard-won—and it’s up to each generation to protect and advance them.

Well done girls, you all worked so hard!

Our Sixth Form RAG Week is in full swing, and today’s theme brought out all the creativity! Our students dressed up as characters starting with the first letter of their names — from Astronauts to Angels, James Bond to Chipmunks, the campus was full of colour, laughter, and brilliant costumes!
Even better? All donations from today are going to Mind Charity, supporting mental health awareness and services.
Huge thanks to everyone who took part and donated — you’re making a real difference 🙌 #RAGWeek #MindCharity #StudentLife #DressUpForACauseImage attachmentImage attachment+4Image attachment

What an inspiring day at The Howard’s Wellness Festival!
Our students had the opportunity to connect with a range of amazing organisations, opening up important conversations around mental health, self-esteem, young carers support, mentoring, relationship building, and so much more.
These meaningful interactions help empower our young people to take charge of their wellbeing and know that support is always within reach.
A huge thank you to all the organisations who joined us and shared their time, knowledge, and resources. Your support makes a real difference — we’re so grateful to have had you with us this year.

Fieldwork in Action!
Earlier this week, our Year 10 Geography students spent the day in Seaford putting their classroom learning into practice!
From coastal processes to data collection techniques, they explored the landscape first-hand as part of their practical coursework. Clipboards in hand, they braved the breeze while gathering data on how coastal management is shaping different parts of the beach.
A fantastic day of learning outside the classroom!

Stem in Action!
Our KS4 students took on the challenge of designing and building earthquake-resistant structures as part of an exciting computing STEM activity. Using real-world problem-solving skills, teamwork, and a touch of creativity, they created models that had to survive simulated quakes. The results? Innovative, resilient, and seriously impressive!
We’re so proud of their curiosity, critical thinking, and commitment to learning how tech and engineering can make a difference in the world.

Excellent work!

Amazing achievement. Congratulations!

We were thrilled to welcome Air Products to our school for an exciting science demonstration today. They arrived with a fantastic selection of experiment, ready to amaze and educate our students.
During their demonstrations, the children explored the fascinating world of extreme temperatures—learning about the freezing points of different substances, the conductivity of materials, and even getting the chance to freeze objects themselves!
One of the highlights was seeing how liquid nitrogen affects solid materials. Everyone watched in awe as objects became incredibly brittle, leading to a fun experiment where a banana was used to hammer a nail into wood!
An experience which sparked curiosity and excitement for science in all who attended.
