Today we welcomed debut author Steve Blackman talking about his incredibly current and relatable sci-fi action book called Zero Override that came out last Thursday. Students were treated to a presentation on his books but also delving into robots and AI. They also programmed a staff member to draw at smiley face. A brilliant morning. Thank you to Scholastic for an incuredible opportunity.#authorvisit#year7#NationalYearOfReading#readingforpleasure... See MoreSee Less
So proud of our Year 7 TfL Guardians! Yesterday, they represented TGSB at the TfL Eco Seminar at the London Transport Museum. We were one of the few schools specially selected to pitch our sustainability project to a panel of industry experts. Huge congratulations to Abdullah , Cyrus and Oscar for delivering a confident, "Dragon's Den"-style presentation! From exploring the museum to networking with TfL professionals, all 12 boys were incredible ambassadors for our school. Amazing work.#TheGreenSchoolforBoys#TflPioneers #SustainableTravel#LondonTransportMuseum #tfl ... See MoreSee Less

8 perimeter laps. 2 miles. 1 incredible achievement! 🏃♂️🏆On May 1st, over 80 TGSB students made history in our inaugural TCS Schools Mini Marathon! To smash the challenge, we needed 60 pupils to run, walk, or jog the full distance—and our boys absolutely crushed it.We’ve linked this incredible effort to our upcoming Empathy Week, focusing on mental fortitude, resilience, and stepping outside our comfort zones. Huge thanks to all the staff who volunteered, and a massive congratulations to the boys. In April, 40 students attended a STEM activity at the official Formula 1 factory of William Atlassian Racing F1 team in Oxfordshire. During the visit, they tour of the museum, e-sim racing experience, the science behind F1 and engineering and safety composites team challenged. One student said , "I found the trip incredibly fun and learnt so many things about cars and about the team itself. The activities were really fun, especially the E-Sim race and looking at the cars in the museum."#stemeducation#f1#enrichmentactivities#thegreenschoolforboys... See MoreSee Less
