ππThis Week in Cooking ππAs part of our Mini Beasts theme, the children made their very own caterpillar fruit kebabs! They carefully practised chopping a variety of fruits, safely threading the pieces onto skewers (fantastic for developing gross motor skills and handβeye coordination), and finally added candy eyes to bring their wiggly caterpillars to life.A fun, creative, and healthy activity enjoyed by all! πππ#newbridge#school#Update... We also continued the theme in maths by counting the different parts of the caterpillar and tracing around his body. π π We have created our very own hungry caterpillar by painting with a brush, dabbing with sponges and rollers.π¨ π Our favourite part was playing the hungry caterpillar game to see who would win.ππ Learning has never been so fun....or hungry!π #newbridge#school#Update... π A busy week in 7GCK! Weβve been practicing our English skills with mark making and overwriting letters, tackling singleβdigit addition in Maths, and solving jigsaws like pros. π In cooking, we chopped up grapes and bananas (and enjoyed tasting them too).π We also had a fun parachute session, working together, taking turns, and burning off lots of energy.π For World Book Day, we made colourful bookmarks using our favourite shades.
